UT alumna Jennifer Gramling serves as the Teaching and Learning Center’s interim director. Gramling also serves the Teaching & Learning Innovation unit as the director of Online Programs, and has been in that position since May 2013.
Gramling has bachelor’s degrees in literature and history from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. She has a doctorate in education and a master’s degree in secondary education, both from UT. During her studies at UT, she worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Research and Information Technology’s Innovative Technology Center and as a graduate assistant in the College of Education, Health, and Human Science’s Department of Instructional Technology, Curriculum, and Evaluation.
Upon graduating from UT in 2003, she began working as a project manager in the Office of Distributed and Distance Learning at Florida State University, where she helped develop and manage online and hybrid courses. Before taking her Online Programs position in 2013, she worked as the associate director of instructional technology and distance learning at South College in Knoxville.
Gramling will serve as the Teaching and Learning Center’s interim director until a nationwide search is finalized.
